Mash Direct win at The National Irish Food Awards

Mash Direct have been honoured withe two awards at The National Irish Food Awards.

Our Carrot, Parsnip & Turnip mix, one of the most popular of the range, was given a Bronze Medal by the judges and Broccoli with a Cheese Sauce, from the new products, was awarded a Silver Medal.

'There were a huge number of entries, and many of the categories were extraordinarily competitive. The winners of all medals are to be heartily congratulated!' said the Irish Food Awards website.

The 5th of October 2008 prize-giving with medals in 18 categories, rewards excellence by companies creating the best-tasting foods made in Ireland. All food entries must be made on the island of Ireland by companies registered in Ireland or Northern Ireland.

A group of Irish food producers and grocers organise the Blas na hÉireann National Irish Food Awards to bring increased attention to the high quality of Irish foods, especially to the Irish public.
