CATEX - Ireland's Definitive Food Service Event was held from the 9th to the 11th of February at RDS Simmonscourt Dublin 4.
Mash Direct was at Stand number K47 and we were in the awards again...
CATEX has firmly established itself as Ireland’s premier showcase of equipment, services, and food and beverage products for the foodservice and hospitality sectors. Launched in 1965, CATEX has developed over the years into a complex mix of trade stands, live competitions, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
The Catering Equipment Association (owners of CATEX) continue to invest heavily into the content of the show, and along with their Industry partners (Including The Panel of Chefs of Ireland, The Restaurant Association of Ireland, The Catering Managers Institute, The Bartenders Association of Ireland, The Speciality Coffee Association of Europe, and the Irish Hospitality Institute) have further enhanced the appeal of the show with additional features for CATEX 2009 such as a dedicated speciality food market, an energy management pavilion, and two state of the art international hot kitchens which play host to six international teams competing against each other over three days.
